When you have come abroad for your education, the most important thing is to study hard.
I had to write the exams as part of my selection process. Entirely self study, did not attend any coaching classes. I did not need a visa. It was easy to get the tickets to Singapore. I flew Jet airways, the flight was good, but student fare was not offered. Landed at Changi airport, its a 35 min drive from the institution. The baggage rules were 20+7 kgs, extra baggage was allowed. I did not face any immigration issues. The university Meet and Greet had come to the airport to pick me up.
The program is good, but can be improved. We have good lecture halls and libraries.
I am sharing room with 3 other people the facilities at my accommodation are good. Its not very difficult for international students to find part time jobs at the university. We have a very vibrant society here, its good to live among a diverse group of people...get to learn a lot about different cultutes and peoples. Great night life. Weather is warm. There is no International Student Society here.
I dont know much about the placement cell and how it functions. The Alumni Network is quite active, dont know if it helps with placements.
